As I sit here at an auto shop waiting to get my brakes fixed, I decided why not write a new post? It’s been way too long. To tell you quite honestly, I’ve been a little uninspired about what to write, and it’s been one crazy busy Summer! I am so glad that this Summer is finally almost over and we can now tune into Fall soon!
There are days when my little pooh bear doesn’t really feel like eating his fruits and vegetables, and when those days turn in two or three days of pickiness, I start to FREAK OUT. MY CHILD ISN’T GETTING ALL THE NUTRITION HE NEEDS! AAAAHHHH!
So, I decided to look for a liquid vitamin that he can take daily. I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to give him gummy vitamins just yet, and luckily I found this at my local Sprout’s grocery store. I bought him the Child Life Multi Vitamin and Mineral
.

I do not give this to Nathan to supplement him from eating his fruits and vegetables. This is just an added bonus. I give him 2 tsp a day, along with his regular scheduled meals. There are days when he eats all the fruits and veggies on his plate, and then there are days that he doesn’t. Even though he does eat his food, children these days are not getting all the necessary essential vitamins daily. That is why I add this on.
I was a little skeptical at first giving it to him, because I was scared that he would reject it. I am so proud and glad that he LIKES it! Unlike adult vitamins, and some children’s chewy vitamins, this liquid vitamin actually taste GOOD! I tried it before giving it to him and it has an orange-mango flavor, which is a little tasty. It kind of reminds me of Sunny-D (haha). I don’t have a teaspoon at home, so I use a syringe Kaiser gave me to measure it and feed it to him. That way I know for sure how much I am giving him. Whenever I whip it out to give him some of his vitamins, he’s actually excited!

Here is a close-up of the Supplement-Facts
As you can see, there’s a lot of vitamins and minerals in this product!
Below are the Supplement Facts of Flinstones Gummies
I am not saying that ChildLife Muti Vitamins are better than Flinstones Gummies, I wanted to show you that there are more essential vitamins and minerals in ChildLife Multi Vitamins. ChildLife was founded by Dr. Clark who has an extensive background in specializing in pediatric and homeopathic nutrition.
Here’s a breakdown of the product from their website:
-ChildLife uses only the highest quality ingredients.
-Gluten free, casein free, alcohol free.
-Contains no milk, eggs, wheat, yeast, peanuts, tree nuts, fish or shellfish.
-No artificial colorings, flavorings or sweeteners.
Suggested Use:
For infants 6 months – 1 yr: 1 teaspoon daily
For children 1 – 4 yrs: 1-2 teaspoons daily
For children 4 – 12 yrs: 2-3 teaspoons daily
The bottle indicates:
-Shake well before use.
-Keep refrigerated after opening.
-Give directly or mix with your child’s favorite drink. (I prefer giving it to Nathan directly, but if your child does not like the taste I’d say go ahead and put it into a fruit juice/smoothie to mask it.)
I highly recommend this product to parents who want to give their child supplements in a more homeopathic route. For the past 2 years of being a mother, I am all about finding homeopathic and eco-safe routes for my son. There’s no harm in trying the product out, except if your child does have allergies. I recall buying this product at around $15.99. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but for what it’s worth and what the product is offering, it is still at decent price.
Some of the cons I do have with the products is:
-When using a syringe, it’s hard to get the liquid when it’s less than half-empty.
-Liquid can get messy on toddlers.
-A little sticky when using a syringe.
But all of those cons can be fixed!
If you go on their website, they have a store locator of where you can find ChildLife products. I found this at Sprout’s, but their store locator shows you can also find them at your local Whole Foods store. The website all shows that the company distributes internationally, as well.
Overall, I highly recommend the ChildLife Mult Vitamin and Minerals. I believe it’s a great supplement to give to your kids for an added bonus to their every day nutrition, and I am proud to say that I give my son ChildLife products! It is M.O.M. APPROVED! I am excited to buy more bottles too!
Have any of you tried ChildLife products before? Thoughts and comments below!!
It’s good to be back! Til Next Time,
P.S. this is the end of the post, and my brakes are still not fixed and I’m still waiting!! 😦
