Being an only child, my son almost only plays alone. Of course with mommy and daddy too, but he does not get too much interaction with other children his age, because we do not have much family close by. I do take him to the park at least 3 times a week too, however he still doesn’t get enough playtime with other children. I don’t want him to turn out too shy , or to not learn how to share or play nicely with kids so at least once a week I take him to Giggles n’ Hugs! I used to take him to Gymboree Play & Learn, however it was getting too expensive every month. It was costing me nearly $120 a month! So, I needed to look for another indoor play place that is more affordable.
I’m so happy I learned about Giggles n’ Hugs through strolling around our local shopping mall. This place is a cleaner, healthier, and much more baby and toddler friendly place than Chuckie Cheese! Giggles N’ Hugs is a safe and fun indoor play area for children, and they also serve a wide variety of food! From sandwiches to pastas! Which are moderate in price, but tastes REALLY good and fresh! Especially the chicken fettucine alfredo, it’s very delicious!
Their play area is clean and spacious! There’s always an attendant monitoring the area. All kids and parents are required to wear socks in the play area and no shoes are allowed!
Every half hour Giggles n’ Hugs offer fun activities for the kids, such as, arts and crafts, dance, parachute games, and even hide and seek!
My son has a lot of fun playing here, and I’m glad he gets a lot of interaction with other children. He is also learning how to “play nice” and share. But, one thing for sure is, he doesn’t tolerate anyone bullying him! He doesn’t cry or hit another child if they bully him, but he simply gives them “the look” to back off! It’s quite interesting, and makes me kind of proud because I’m happy he isn’t resorting to violence!
The entrance is $9 per child for an all day pass, but they also have a monthly unlimited play pass. For more information check out their website! All their staff members are very friendly, and know how to have fun with the kids! Which makes a really enjoyable experience for the whole family! I really enjoy coming here because Nathan gets to run and play freely without bumping into things and hurting himself, and he has a wide open space to play. I can sit and watch him play, or we have fun playing together. It’s also a great place to meet other parents and their kids for a play date!
Some days, we’ll have lunch then play, or vice versa! Check out their menu here!
We celebrated Nathan’s 2nd birthday at Giggles n’ Hugs! That’s how much we love it and I think we’ll be spending a couple more birthday there as well! Here are few pictures from our recent visits!
If you do visit Giggles n’ Hugs, don’t forget to bring socks! Let me know if you’ve been to Giggles n’ Hugs before and what your thoughts are! Do you enjoy these types of indoor play areas with your kids? I sure do!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great rest of the week!
Til Next Time,
