I am really trying to contain myself while writing this post, but I am way too excited! We’ve seen Freshly Picked Moccasins on the cutest little feet almost every where you go! We see them on newborns to toddlers, and they’re all just oh so cute! So when Freshly Picked reached out to collaborate, there was no way I was going to pass it up!
Susan Petersen is the owner & founder of the amazing company. You may have seen her on Shark Tank! Her goal was to create a well-designed baby shoe that is durable, soft-soled, stylish, but most importantly stay on your child’s foot. And, I must say…It definitely lives up to her expectations, and mine’s too. I’ve been eyeing these moccs for Nathan for quite a while, but I was little apprehensive about buying them because of the price. I’ve never actually felt, or held one, until I visited Nordstrom, where they carry Freshly Picked moccasins. I saw them, and I knew I had to have one for Nathan! They are so soft, and made with high quality 100% genuine leather. The moccs feature a unique design with elastic in the opening, so it’s easy to put on and take off. They fit true to size, and are available in sizes 1-10. On top of that, they come in a wide variety of beautiful and awesome colors! I am so fortunate that Freshly Picked was generous enough to style my child’s feet with their awesome moccasins! We received one in the color “Steel”.
When I received the moccs in the mail, I was so ecstatic and I couldn’t wait for Nathan to wear them!
Last night, we took Nathan out to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach for our Valentine’s Day celebration. We put on his moccs and took it for a test. Will it stay on? Will he be comfortable? Nathan is the type that zooms left, right, up & down every where we go! So, I needed to see if these shoes will be durable and safe for him to wear. I say safe because there are plenty of shoes that make him lose balance, and trip sometimes.
Seeing all his favorite ocean animals made Nathan jump up and down for joy! So did the shoes live up to my expectations? Yes, it sure did! He bounced around excitedly and the shoes didn’t come off! It also did not make him trip, fall, or lose balance. And, he never complained about them on, so I’m assuming he was comfortable to wear them. I also love the stylish and hip look of these moccasins! Therefore, Freshly Picked moccasins get an A+ in my book! I’m definitely going to order more since Freshly Picked just came out with their Utah collection featuring the cutest array of Earth tone colored moccasins! I’m planning on buying Red Rock! It will look so great for the Summer and Fall too!
