Nighttime Skincare Routine

I’m not really the type to get my nails done regularly, nor do I color my hair. I only visit a salon once a year for a haircut! But I do like spoiling myself with high-quality skincare products & taking care of my skin is my version of self-care.

This is my nightly beauty routine. After cleansing and toning my skin, I mix drop of Frankincense EO with 3-4 drops of the Indie Lee Facial Oil on the palm of my hands and apply it gently on my face, avoiding my eyes. Then I massage my face for 10 minutes with the Skin Gym Rose Quartz roller in an upward direction.

When Sephora had their Beauty Insider event, I picked up the Indie Lee facial oil which has only ONE ingredient: SQUALANE OIL! “Squalane oil is a saturated byproduct of squalene oil, a polyunsaturated hydrocarbon. The human body produces squalene naturally, which is why its derivative, squalane, is such an excellent moisturizer for the hair, skin and nails; our bodies know what to do with it.” (Dermstore) I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now, and it has really hydrated my skin. Especially around my nose & cheeks.

Frankincense EO helps protect skin cells and reduce skin discoloration. Frankincense oil is distilled from the resin of Boswellia carterri trees located in Northern Africa. I like applying this at night so that it can also help me relax & uplift my mood. Learn more about Frankincense by visiting Essentially Be Well or send me a message anytime!

Mixing these 2 oils followed by 10 minute facial massage with the Rose Quartz roller help with product absorption. Regular massaging with this roller will help to drain puffiness as well as tones and firms the appearance of my skin. By doing this regimen every night, I wake up with glowy and dewy skin! That’s what I am aiming for.
